Meet Ms. Foo Shin Shin, the Founder and Managing Partner of Messrs SS FOO & CO.
Ms. Shin Shin’s journey in law began with her Bachelor of Laws (Honour) from Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK. She further honed her legal skills and knowledge by obtaining a professional Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board of Malaysia.
Recognising the significance of business acumen in the legal profession, Ms. Shin Shin pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the esteemed University of Cardiff Metropolitan. This unique combination of legal expertise and business insights sets her apart as a well-rounded legal professional.
Ms. Shin Shin completed her pupilage at Messrs ZICO (formerly known as Zaid Ibrahim & Co), where she gained valuable hands-on experience and practical insights into various legal matters. In 2015, she was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, marking the beginning of her legal career.
As the visionary leader of Messrs SS FOO & CO, Ms. Shin Shin is committed to providing exceptional legal services to clients and fostering a culture of excellence within the firm. Her passion for law and astute business acumen enables her to offer innovative and strategic solutions to complex legal challenges.

Foo Chei CheiPartner
Chei Chei graduated with a Second Class Honours (Division 1) in Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom and obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2016. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2017. She also holds an LLM (Masters in Commercial Law) from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Currently, she is particularly active in areas of general litigation, debt recovery, family disputes, contested and uncontested estate matters.
NURANIS ALIA SYAFIQAH BINTI SHEFRIZALLegal Associate
Meet Ms. Anis, a promising legal professional with a passion for real estate law and property transactions. Armed with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Universiti Utara Malaysia, she has quickly made her mark in the legal arena and is poised for a bright future.
In 2022, she was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, officially embarking on her legal career.
Currently, Ms. Anis primarily focuses on property transactions, where she handles a diverse range of tasks, including sale and purchase transactions for project development, subsale transactions, and security documentation. Her expertise in this area ensures that clients receive comprehensive legal support during their property transactions.
Additionally, Ms. Anis has the opportunity to expand her legal horizon by assisting the Partners in corporate and litigation matters within the firm. Working under the seasoned guidance of Ms. Shin Shin and Ms. Chei Chei, she gains exposure to a wide spectrum of legal areas, contributing to her overall growth as a legal professional.
